WEEK MAY 5th through MAY 9th
 
This week your children will be learning about the different types of clouds, how a cloud is formed, how weather effects our mood, and about the water cycle. Your students should be able to do the following after this unit:
 
  • Identify the 5 types of clouds
  • Relate the different types of clouds to the specific weather associated with the cloud.
  • Describe how weather affects their mood or changes their day.
  • Summarize how a cloud is formed and complete the cycle of a cloud.

Family Education

Family Education is a great website for parenting advice, educational activities for children, family games, and recipes. Family Education provides printable worksheets for math, reading, science, and social studies for all grade levels. You can explore what you should expect for your child in different academic areas, find out how your child is progressing academically and socially, and work with you child on skill-builders. It also provides parenting advice and how to deal with social challenges your child may come across. It is a great resource for all different areas, CHECK IT OUT!

Discovery Education: associated with the Discovery Channel. Titled: Parent's Guide, Kids, School and You!

Kids, School & You, is a wonderful resource! This website will help you find the best educational software, videos, games and toys for your kids, provide you with study tools, and provide links to articles written by different educational experts. They also have an On TV section, where both you and your kids will love their educational programs, plus they offer tips you can use to help your kids become media savvy!
