Hello students and
parents! Once again, my name is Casey Milroy. This is my fourth year teaching at Wealthy Elementary School, and I am so excited
about this year! I cannot wait to get to know each and everyone of my students.
As for my background,
I graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. I spent four years studying at Marquette
and also got the privilege to study abroad in Madrid, Spain for a semester. It was an amazing experience. I spent a semester
at the Milwaukee Academy of Science for my semester of student teaching where I learned an immense amount about
the field of education.
I chose to become a
teacher because I have always loved working with children. I am a communicator and love working with people. I am
determined to educate every child and make school an exciting and safe environment for everyone. Not to mention it's fun!
I cannot wait to see all the things your children teach me throughout the year.
In my spare time I
love to be outdoors. I love going for walks with my dog Murphy. I also enjoy reading, painting, watching movies, and cooking.
Feel free to ask me
questions anytime you have them. I look forward to learning more about the students on their "ME" days where they will share
with the class information about themselves. It is one of my favorite weeks and a great way to start the year!
